Revolution Energy Services completed a 49.88kWp of solar PV at Cedars Primary School on behalf of Hounslow Council under the PSDS funding, this was commissioned in November 2021.
This system is split across multiple roofs to maximise yields for the school to help reduce the dependency of the grid and help reduce the carbon emissions. We completed the system using SolarEdge equipment so Revolution can monitor the system remotely to make sure the school is receiving the best production. Their superior safety features, with SafeDC, meant Unlike conventional string inverters with loss of mains power the system drops to a safe DC voltage of 1V per module. This meets the highest German and European Safety Standards (VDE 2100, IEC 60947) which reassures the school knowing the system is fire safe.
This system has an estimated annual production of 39, 090kWh to which the site will consume. It also has included 1x BYD LVS premium 20kW battery storage unit to store any generation that is not used so it can be dispersed when required.
