In March 2022, Revolution completed a 193.5kWp of solar PV at Brentford Leisure Centre under the PSDS grant for Hounslow Council. This system was installed using LONGI 375W modules connected to SolarEdge optimisers mounted onto Van Der Valk framing. Each design as been created to maximise the roof space to increase yield but to also remain 1m from the external roof edge to comply with planning regulations.
The solar PV modules are all installed south facing on the front of the building to consume the most sunlight throughout the day.
This system has 6x SolarEdge inverters (4x SE33.3K and 2x SE10K-RWS) that consist of 2x 24kWp BYD batteries. The SolarEdge equipment can all be monitored remotely to make sure there this no faults with the system. This allows the leisure centre to use all the production from the panels required and store any that was not used, this means the centre will always see a benefit to their electricity bill.
This system has an estimated annual generation of 179.56mWh to which the leisure centre will consume all of it.
