On behalf Hounslow Council, Revolution completed a 155.54kWp solar PV system at Alexandra Primary School, these modules were split across multiple arrays to help us maximise yields for the school. We completed the installation using SolarEdge equipment so we could provide our standard monitoring package which the school can also access. Their superior safety features, with SafeDC, meant Unlike conventional string inverters with loss of mains power the system drops to a safe DC voltage of 1V per module. This meets the highest German and European Safety Standards (VDE 2100, IEC 60947).
This system has an estimated annual production of 144, 390kWh, due to the size of the school this generation will be consumed. They also have 1x BYD LVS premium 20kW battery storage unit for any production that is not used when the school is closed, this can be dispersed when required to help reduce the dependency of the grid load.
On all our pitched roof installations we complete bird netting to help reduce nesting under the modules reassuring the customer. This just provides a level of reassurance that no cables under the modules will be damaged.
